My mate Nick is running a film festival for Road Movies- it was advertised on shooting people this moring but for those who don't read it here it is again:

Firstly we'd like to thank everyone who expressed an interest in our ROAD MOVIE film festivval.
We've been somewhat overwhelmed by the interest which the posting generated.
We're still looking for films to show at the festival in Aberdeen, and although we initially
ear marked a date in July, it is looking more probable that we will hold the event in October
2002. (Students will be coming back and generally people tend to go on holiday in July, thus
a later date seems to be more appropriate)
We've extended the submission date as we know a lot of people who contacted us, had films in
post production and/ or just finishing production. The extension will make sure you don't miss
out on the chance to have your film screened in public. The new submission date is 25th November
2001
With regards to the nature of the films; they can originate on any format, although we ask that
they be, preferably, less than half an hour. We'd welcome any entries from outside the UK. The
only major criteria that they have to meet is that they're ROAD MOVIES (this is open to your
own interpretation)

Let's take this one step at a time.

I have half a dozen 3 to five minute works that I would like to have an opinion on.

Currently they are on either CD or VHS NTSC 320 x 240.

I have more production templates and codecs than I know what to do with, so formatting to PAL should not be a problem.

What next?
